Intro
Hello all,
I am Joaquín a researcher working towards sustainable agriculture in Puerto Rico. I have read all Anastasia books since about 2011 and have been working in different things to get to a King’s Domain community. Currently Land Patents are important to me, but since Puerto Rico is a territory of the US I am not certain if this method applies. Alternatively, Land Trusts could work so I am also looking into these. Private Trusts appear to be prohibited in PR, but yet if you claim yourself as a human you could step out of the jurisdiction and do it. I have a youtube.com/compostapr channel where I talk about gardening and other presentations.

Hi Lillian,
I was born in Ecuador, but haven’t been there in many years. Land there is more affordable, but crime, I am told, is going up. PR still pretty good.

Wow… Gabriel, I didn’t know you are from PR. That’s great! Please let me know if you are here or if you come to PR. I would love to talk to you. I have also researched Express Trust and these seem prohibited by law, but yet I guess that is if you work in the public. When PR was given to the US in the Treaty of Paris the US was obligated to preserve private property and then land was confirm by the US and its methods. I am not certain if those titles from Spain were to real owners, but I have heard that all Europe transferred land with confirmatory patents referencing the original land grant. Perhaps there is a method to do it in PR.

Hi brother, this is fascinating stuff. I’m not really familiar with trust law in Puerto Rico. I’d love to learn about anything you discover regarding that.
Also, if you ever want to host a meetup in Puerto Rico, please let me know and we can help support. There has to be more readers there, it would be incredible if a community of readers were to develop on the island. It’s inevitable.

Thanks Garbiel, I have been studying some land patents. As of now, when PR was part of Spain, Spain gave land to for example Juan Ponce de León in usufructo, meaning for his use and with restrictions from the crown. Spaniers mantaned greater control over then land. When the US took over at the Paris Treaty, things started to change, property transfers where maintained as per ‘international law’. In short I’m not certain that documentation from the time of Spain would work. One is hard to find and In some part it might work as land was kept in private hands over the Spain/US handover. Later when the US wanted to develop Sugar Cane production they DID gave some land patents of otherwise similar to corporations. My farm was in a sugar place location. I have to research further about this as I think it might be there where the land patent can be looked for. I’ll keep you posted.
