I agree that property taxes are one of the main impediments to the long-term financial sustainability of kindoms. There is now a course through the Sacred Honor Educational Fellowship about how to obtain what is known as allodial title a.k.a. land patent on a piece of property that one “owns”. It is backed by years of research and successful conversions. The process removes your land and real property from the tax register, eliminating your tax liability. I plan to take the course next year when I finish structuring my affairs with a trust structure. Here is the link to SHEF where you can sign up for their free private membership and read about the allodial title process: https://www.sacredhonoref.com/

Hi, my wife and I are homesteading in Southern Maine and have been visioning an intentional community for the last 8 years. We read the ringing cedars series a few years ago and recently read “The Primordial Code” by Brian Costello which I describe as almost the North American version of Ringing Cedars. There is a Primordial Code readers group that is intending to start what the author calls “modern tribal village” which is almost the same as the kin’s domain idea. On a recent call someone mentioned The Ringing Cedars and the Anastasia Foundation which reminded me that this exists and sent me searching for this platform again. And now that I’m here I’m excited to see others looking to do the same in the Northeast.

We are in the process of building support for a kin’s domain/modern tribal village in Southern Maine or somewhere else in northern New England. We have created vision, mission, values documents as well as thought through certain logistical, operational and financial aspects of the village. We are in a financial position to afford to fund our own land purchase and maybe finance one other family depending on the cost of the real estate.

Also, I have been studying law and finance strategies for the past 3 years and am now aware of ways to make zoning restriction irrelevant and creatively finance projects like this in safe and proven ways. As anyone who has taken a few steps down this path knows finances and zoning laws are the two biggest physical hurdles in place that keep projects like this from happening.

If anyone is interested in learning more, connecting, or joining our village exploration calls coming up in the next few months please reply here and/or reach out via email : anastasia.spoken135@passmail.net

Hey Donna, there is a way to lawfully gain alodial title to your land and make zoning restriction, permits, and property taxes unnecessary. I think this is the key that unlocks many lands to kindoms. Sacred Honor Educational Fellowship teaches a course on this. https://www.sacredhonoref.com/
