I lived in Texas till I reached age 55, then moved to Seattle in 2006 for a sabbatical. I will soon be relocating back to the Hill Country in Texas, where I will be working in a humanitarian network on projects to bring our pristine origins back. I envision a large settlement there, with a huge animal sanctuary as the focus. Many jobs will be created for the sanctuary and the kins domains there.
My formal education was in law, psychology, and the arts. I did a large amount of volunteer work with children for many years. I raised a family. Spiritual teachings include having been raised Catholic, then moved onto mystical and metaphysical teachings. Unity Church, Abraham teachings, Self-Realization Fellowship (kriyaban), Vipassana meditation course, ACIM supplemented with Gary Renard's books, books by Dr. David Hawkins, and of course the Ringing Cedars of Russia.
I have done a fair amount of world travel, and spent many months in Russia from 2001 - 2008 and plan to return for regular visits and possibly have a small residence there. I will have a second home in WA state, too, since my daughter lives here now.
I am a mix of introvert/extrovert. I love world travel, new experiences, meeting new people; and I love my quiet time, entertaining at home and cooking for friends. I am a dabbler - learn a little bit about a lot of things. More of a generalist than one who enjoys the technical details. As for dabbling in astrology, I'm a Sun/Virgo, Moon/Pisces, and Rising/Sagittarius. Mercury/Libra and Venus/Leo to cover a little more.
I love dance, especially Tango, Latin dances, and Ballroom dancing (especially at Christmastime). I have dabbled in loom weaving, wheel-thrown ceramics, expressive figure drawing, painting, and sketching. Would love to try more, with so many interests, but have had to put many on hold, but I at least had an experience. 🙂
