About Me:
I'm very new to the Ringing Cedars books and still working my way through them. They ring the bell of truth for me, and much of it resonates with my own personal cosmology. I don't agree with everything in the books, but that's okay.
I'm a young elder with three grown children and two grandchildren. When my children were young, my then husband and I tried living in an intentional community, but things did not turn out well and we moved back to the city. Ultimately, it was my vision to live this way and my then-husband did not have his own vision for life.
I've lived my whole adult life (and raised my children) without pharmaceuticals. My youngest child was born at home. I garden, make herbal medicines, put food up and do what I call "apartment homesteading". I am post-menopausal and past my child bearing years. I am now in the crone phase of my life and focused creativity and living a good life.
I'm close with my family, including my ex-husband and his wife.
I'm a deeply spiritual person and very devoted to my pre-Christian Ancestral Wisdom Ways and teachings (primarily Norse), and am a leader and teacher in my community.
I have been practicing the healing arts for more than 30 years, the word I used for this is "seidhkona".
I have a varied and colorful past and am as far from "pure" (in the idealogical, dogmatic, perfectionistic sense) that a person can be.
I'm not a traditionally conservative person, I am more liberal minded (but in the old fashioned sense), and my politics actually land somewhere between anarchist and libertarian. I am an egalitarian, but not in the sense that the government can provide equality for us. I am a strong advocate for self responsibility.
I do not ascribe to dogma. If you talk to me, you must understand that although I am quite feminine, I Am Man, and I have had to call upon my inner masculine for most of my life. My life story is not something I will share here, but I have had MANY experiences which defy the dogma of gender roles as they've been passed down to us. I would LOVE to speak with open minded others about this.
I also believe that sexuality and pleasure is a gift of Source, but I do not ascribe to Puritanical practices in relation to sexuality. This is a very important aspect of my life, and again this is something to discuss privately.
It's also important to understand that I'm a minor celebrity where I live.
I appreciate all spiritual paths and am a student of world religions. I believe that all paths lead to God/ Goddess/Creator/ Loving Source.
Creator has guided my choices since (before) I was a child. I never went back to sleep, I have been awake my whole life. I remember past lives and I know why I am here. I was born into & raised within the dark belly of the "beast" as my initiation into this life's path of transmutation. I have been led to to be here, in this city, and working/living/playing in the darkness, bringing the light for the last 29 years.
I very much want to have my own Kin's Domain/ my forever home where I can live out the remainder of my life in harmony with the Earth.... and I have dreams of the home I wish to build, which includes a retreat center. I know that the path is being cleared for me, and for now I am here sharing the wisdom I've gleaned over the years in the spaces where it is welcome.
I am here because I want to connect with others who are also drawn to/ living this lifestyle. If Creator blessed me with a soul mate or a community then that's a bonus.
