I sure wish I could live just as Anastasia does (absolutely wild and free), but alas, my wife prefers the comforts of society over the dangerous freedom of the wilderness. It seems all my life I have searched for the balance between the two, and yet toil on. Just as you say, the modern idea and commercial system of marriage sure is very messy and lacking sovereignty, not to mention the very high rates of divorce. In fact, modern day civil unions are a limiting commercial contract (agreement) between 3 parties: the ‘married’ couple, and the corporate STATE, wherein the contracting (licensed) couple are seen as wards and infants having their affairs and decedent estates administered by the government. This type of civil agreement/contract greatly diminishes legal status and standing. I would advise for a traditional or express common-law marriage rather than asking for permission/license to marry from govern-mental service corporations under the despotic roman civil law. I appreciate you chiming in here and continuing the conversation. I believe the possibilities in each and every life are endless and just as infinite as the love that is the heart and soul of wo/man.
