There used to be a paper directory for alternative communities in UK called “Diggers and Dreamers”, it still exists, it seems, online, this may be helpful in locating other intentional communities and people, I wasn’t allowed to post the link on here, so it is diggers and dreamers dot org uk

I remember walking in Scotland and drinking from a sparkling brook, it was quick moving bright water. After resting I walked upstream for about a kilometre where I came across a large male deer, dead, in the water, with it’s belly bloated and full of flies. Thank you very much for your reply. I previously had followed a link to what looked like a current Megre page, the last posts were 2013, I plan to spend some time on the one you shared, great.
