I first read all the books 12 years ago and have re-read them at least 5 times at this point. I'm reading them again right now and every time through I hear something profound and new. Reading the books shifted my focus from preforming arts to plants..realizing that the magic I adored in fairy stories is more profoundly fond in connecting with nature...with God's thought. So, I immersed myself in studying natural farming, ethnobotany, plant and soil science, and native plant identification...but really my main teacher has been my crazy dog. I don't think there is a placebo affect with animals...so they show you if what you're doing is working or not. And, like Anastasia is always saying, heightened emotion accelerates thought...and when my angel has been hurt I willfully command heaven and earth to move to heal her injuries...and always end up learning something.
Right now my favorite healing plant is the most humble of them all: narrow-leaf/broad-leaf plantain because of how quickly a spit-poultice of plantain stops pain and bleeding.
I would love to hear how you tend your drinking water. I'm bewildered by the fact that in 12 years I have yet to access a freshwater spring to employ Anastasia's methods for bringing life back to drinking water. It seems that here on the Big Island, springs with drinking water are on private land. So, I'm wondering what other folks are doing to provide healthy water for themselves and their families.
