Hello friends, I’m really curious whether any of you are still taking the cedar oil from Anastasia mentioned in the Ringing Cedars books. I bought a bottle that contains ten percent resin, and oh my goodness—it’s so bitter. I’d love to know how you all take the cedar oil. Do you take a spoonful every morning when you wake up? I remember the book mentioning dripping the oil into water, but I recall that being in the context of freezing natural spring water into ice blocks.

I’ve heard that pure cedar oil is supposed to have a very pleasant aroma, but the resin type is extremely bitter. I’ve tried mixing it with water, but since oil doesn’t dissolve in water… I might try using a dropper, putting a few drops under my tongue each day, then drinking lots of water.

Hi everyone, do you have any good suggestions for this, or any interesting experiences to share? I truly love this community, and I love this website where we can have these kinds of discussions. I’m so happy to be here, and I hope each one of you is living in peace and happiness.

    Hey @Lyastra 🙂

    Thanks for sharing!

I love the Cedar Oil with 10% resin 😂, but of course everyone has different tastes. It is indeed very strong. I take the oil every morning. Because I am the only one that drinks it, I actually just carefully sip it straight from the bottle without the use of a wooden spoon.

The plain cedar nut oil is very neutral and nutty, it’s very good. My body has just always favored the 10% resin. Of course you should find what feels good for you!

@GabrielMiguel , the founder of the Anastasia Foundation also has launched a Cedar Oil Business called Siberian Cedar Oil. I have some bottles pre-ordered and look forward to trying it.

One thing is: I would not recommend drinking lots of water after you take the oil. In fact, it’s best if you take the oil first thing in the morning and do not eat or drink for at least thirty minutes after. Drinking a lot of water right after you take the cedar nut oil will not allow it to absorb fully into your body because the large amount of water will dilute the concentration of digestive enzymes and other materials in your stomach. If you have to take something to counteract the bitterness, I’d recommend a small spoonful of honey right after. Also you may really like the plain oil instead, so perhaps give that a try 🙂

😊I’m truly grateful for your message. It’s really encouraging to know that someone has been consistently taking cedarwood oil. I sincerely appreciate you sharing your experience with me—thank you for telling me this. It gives me motivation and comfort. I will continue trying this cedarwood oil, and after I finish this bottle, I’ll try pure cedar nut oil. I’ll give it a few more attempts, and maybe, as you suggested, add some honey. That’s a really good idea. I hope everything is well for you, and once again, thank you for your message and for sharing.
